Story
The idea for Calma emerged in 2022 during a sleepover, where we found ourselves discussing the frustration of having a very limited number of places to buy clothes in Nicaragua. This conversation sparked a realization that many people our age shared the same sentiment. Motivated by this common issue, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create a brand that would offer a fresh and innovative approach to streetwear in our country.
The name "Calma" was chosen to reflect the sense of peacefulness and security we wanted our consumers to feel when buying our clothes. We believed that by offering unique and high-quality clothing, we could provide a sense of calm and satisfaction, making their souls feel grateful for the experience.
Since 2022, Calma has been an ongoing project, evolving and growing as we refined our vision and designs. Our journey has been driven by a passion for creativity and a desire to challenge the monopoly imposed by big brands. After two years of hard work and dedication, we are proud to finally establish Calma and introduce it to the public in 2024.
